Losing a mother is an immeasurable loss, and the passing of Bithi Rani Sadhu has left a deep void in the life of Sujoy Sadhu and his family. Her journey was one of strength, resilience, and unwavering love for her children.

In December 2008, Bithi Rani Sadhu suffered her first stroke, which led to immediate hospitalization at Kaliganj Hospital. Later, she was transferred to Jessore 250 Bed Hospital for better treatment. After three days, she regained consciousness and gradually recovered. Despite her health challenges, she remained a pillar of strength for her family.

At that time, Sujoy was preparing for his SSC exams, which commenced on February 1, 2009. Despite his mother’s illness, he remained focused on his studies and managed to achieve commendable results. With this success, he got admitted to Metahub Udding Degree College in Kaliganj, Jhenaidah.

Soon after, the family embarked on building a new home. Their 4-satak land, once an empty space, began transforming into a shelter for their dreams. By mid-2010, they moved into the new house, though it was far from complete. The house lacked a proper water supply, flooring, and wall plastering, making daily life a struggle. Despite these hardships, Bithi Rani Sadhu remained strong and supported her family as best as she could.

In 2011, Sujoy passed his HSC exams with a GPA of 4.5 out of 5, a remarkable achievement given the challenges he faced. He aspired to get into a public university, but after multiple attempts in 2011 and 2012, he could not secure a seat. Eventually, he enrolled at a National University to continue his education.

As time passed, financial burdens grew heavier on the family. They had taken a loan of 5 lakh BDT to build their home, and his father’s shop was not yielding substantial income. Amidst these struggles, Bithi Rani Sadhu’s health began to decline once again.
